The High School Choral Festival is a biennial event providing high school choruses an opportunity to participate in a mass choir under the direction of a guest conductor.

Participating schools in 2007 include Clinton Christian from Indiana, Pathway Christian from Iowa, Greenwood Mennonite from Delaware, and three Ohio schools — Faith, Gospel Haven, and Shekinah.

Guest Conductor Tim Shue comes is from Kidron, Ohio, where he is director of music at Central Christian High School. Tim is a graduate of Hesston and Bethel Colleges, both in his native state of Kansas. At Central, he is the director of the Concert Choir and Varsity Singers. Comfortable in a variety of musical styles, Tim has been a music and band leader at the last three nationwide conventions of Mennonite Church USA, as well as directing the annual Ohio Mennonite Men s Chorale and directing with the Summit Choral Society of Akron. An accomplished folk style musician, he has recorded a CD of original songs and hymn arrangments and is a frequent performer at Mennofolk festivals while occasionally playing fiddle for folk dances. He lives outside of Kidron with his wife, Jennifer, 7-month old daughter Harper, and their constant canine companion, Starbuck.
