Rosedale Bible College is accredited with the Association for Biblical Higher Education. The college is also authorized by the Ohio Board of Regents to grant the Associate of Arts degree in Biblical Studies. Courses are based on semester hours using a block system of five six–week terms per academic year. A
normal academic load is six hours per term. Credits transfer as semester hours to most Christian
colleges and to many public universities as well. There is no official grading scale, but professors are required to assign a letter grade at the end of each normal course.
A = Excellent work of consistently high quality and few weaknesses
B = Good work showing understanding, insight, creativity, or skill C = Satisfactory work that is adequate D = Passing work that is minimally adequate but still creditable F = Failing work that is clearly inadequate, unworthy of credit In computing grade point averages:
A = 4.0A– = 3.67 B+ = 3.33 B = 3.0 B– = 2.67 C+ = 2.33 C = 2.0 C– = 1.67 D+ = 1.33 D = 1.0 D– = .67 F = 0. Students are graduated “With Honor” if they achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 in all courses taken in their degree program.
