We are looking forward to your arrival on campus to kick of the 2011–12 academic year. We are pleased to provide an extended orientation format which we believe will enhance the success of your college experience at RBC. As a faculty and staff we are committed to partnering with you in your educational experience so that you are better equipped to know and fulfill God’s call on your life.

Parents are welcome to stay for the Saturday morning component of orientation. President Dan Ziegler is speaking in the opening chapel and will be followed by Phil Weber, Academic Dean, who will introduce students to RBC’s academic department.

New Student Arrival Instructions
When you arrive please check in at the chapel lobby. The resident director of your dorm, along with other staff and faculty, will be available to help you find your room and assist you with any questions you may have. The dorms will open Friday, September 16, at 6:00 p.m. Your arrival should be between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m. If you are unable to arrive between those times please contact the Dean of Students, Chris Jones, at 740-857-1311 or by email to make other arrangements. There will be an official welcome at 9:00 p.m. in the cafeteria, followed by refreshments.

Returning Student Arrival Instructions
As a returning student you may choose to attend the entire orientation beginning Friday evening September 16th, or arrive Sunday evening, September 18, between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Please do not arrive other times during the weekend. Returning students on campus will be expected to attend all the orientation sessions. All 2011-12 students need to attend Monday‘s orientation sessions. In the event that you cannot be here at one of those times please contact the Dean of Students, Chris Jones, at 740-857-1311 or by email to make other arrangements.
