Distance Learning, or enrolling in academic courses while remaining at home and maintaining normal responsibilities, is a growing trend for professionals seeking further training. RBC recognizes the need for this type of resource, and offers the Institute of Pastoral Studies, an adjunct program designed especially for church leaders.

Participants spend one week on campus in November, and complete the coursework at home in the months that follow. The program is organized on a three–year cycle, and applicants may join the cycle in any given year.
