Featured Speakers

Living Out Our Potential

Jon Byler serves with Global Disciples Network as the international coordinator for Global LEAD Alliance, a program assisting new churches in mission settings to develop leaders. Before he began his work with GDN in 2004, Jon served as the senior pastor of Thika Christian Church in Thika, Kenya. His other experience in ministry settings in Kenya includes thirteen years as director of ACCEA School of the Bible, seven years as director of the Centre for Christian Discipleship, five years as the pastor of Juja Joy Christian Church in Juja, Kenya, and two years as a regional overseer for churches affiliated with the African Christian Church.
We bring glory to God when we use our God–given potential. Jon will challenge his audience members to unlock that potential by learning to recognize how God uses experiences, personality, and ability to prepare individuals to do His work. He will also present a plan for developing Godgiven potential and sharing it with others.

KnowFooling® and Illusion & Beyond®

Toby Travis is an illusionist, humorist and inspirational speaker who is known for his ability to communicate spiritual truth in an entertaining and creative way. He has taken his program on tours throughout the U.S. as well as in the U.K., Eastern Europe, Central America, and South Asia. He also serves as president of Ministry Arts for Global Impact, a non-profit ministry which assists local churches in using the performing arts to reach their communities.
Toby will present his program KNOWFOOLING®, providing insights into just how easily we can be deceived and how we can identify many of the deceptions that are prevalent throughout our society. He will also present his cabaret show entitled Illusion & Beyond®, which features a captivating and inspirational blend of humor, audience participation, and mind-boggling illusions. Admission for Illusion & Beyond® is included with seminar registration, but tickets for the presentation may also be purchased separately.
