Living Out Our Potential
Jon Byler serves with Global
Disciples Network as the international
coordinator for Global
LEAD Alliance, a program
assisting new churches in mission settings to develop
leaders. Before he began his work with GDN in
2004, Jon served as the senior pastor of Thika
Christian Church in Thika, Kenya. His other experience
in ministry settings in Kenya includes thirteen
years as director of ACCEA School of the Bible,
seven years as director of the Centre for Christian
Discipleship, five years as the pastor of Juja Joy
Christian Church in Juja, Kenya, and two years as
a regional overseer for churches affiliated with the
African Christian Church.
We bring glory to God when we use our God–given
potential. Jon will challenge his audience
members to unlock that potential by learning to
recognize how God uses experiences, personality,
and ability to prepare individuals to do His work.
He will also present a plan for developing Godgiven
potential and sharing it with others.
