Welcome to our forum!

We're delighted that Marilynne Robinson, winner of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for fiction, has agreed to answer some of our questions about truth, fiction and why Christians need to take literature seriously.

We'll begin our discussion in early June. Please check back then to read Marilynne's thoughts and respond with your own. You might also want to read “Where are all the Christian novelists?” by Meg Donahue, along with Brenda Zook's review of Robinson's award-winning novel, Gilead. Both of these Beacon articles should be available online by early June.

After about a month of discussion, we'll invite Marilynne to give a final response to our input. If there's enough energy to keep the conversation going after that, we'll keep our forum open. Who knows?
