This modified CV is offered in regard to some of my church speaking/preaching and leadership roles. This document is not intended as a formal CV of all my professional experience. This CV excludes my experience as an educator, student-scholar, and some minor publishing. It leaves out my career as a librarian and it also excludes my 10 year career as a professional musician.

Primary Assignments:

• Commissioned to preach 8 times yearly at University Mennonite Church in State College PA. (1980s)

• Delegate to Allegheny Conference. ( a lay position and one with little prestige—pretty much anyone willing could have the post. 1980s).

• 1988 served as elder at University Mennonite Church State College, PA

• 1989-1998 Lead Pastor at Mobile Mennonite Church in Mobile, Alabama. Originally sent with the assistance of Eastern Mennonite Missions as a church planter.

• 1999-2001 Pastor, Freedom in Christ – Church planting in Mobile, Alabama.

• 1993-1997: Delegate for Lancaster Mennonite Conference to the Mennonite General Assembly-- Philadelphia 1993, Wichita 1995, Orlando 1997.

• 2005-2007 Elder, London Christian Fellowship. London, Ohio.

• 2007 - Associate pastor, London Christian Fellowship, London Ohio

Guest speaking. Below are listed most of the congregations, events or occasions when I have either preached and/or been invited to teach in extended series. In the case of several of these congregations I was invited multiple times, so I have not indicated specific dates. For instance, I preached once a month for a year in 2002-3 at Mennonite Christian Fellowship in Atmore. In other cases, I might have spoken for morning and evening services.
