Synopsis
William Gibson’s The Miracle Worker, a drama about Helen Keller and her teacher, Anne Sullivan, is an American classic. The play, drawing on Keller's autobiography and letters written by Sullivan, depicts the physically and emotionally intense struggle the pair endured before the "miracle" occurred, when Sullivan broke into the silent world of her blind and deaf student, teaching her to communicate using sign language.
