What expectations does RBC have for those who register for Discover Rosedale?
Everyone is required to attend the 8:30 introduction time in the chapel on Friday morning. In addition, participants are expected to attend RBC 101, Chapel, and at least one regularly scheduled RBC class. We are expecting you at the 10:00 pm welcoming in the cafeteria Thursday evening unless other arangements are specified earlier.

Where will I sleep?
Overnight housing will be provided for prospective students in residence halls, hosted by RBC students. Most times two prospective students will be paired up with two current students.

Can I request a roommate?
Yes—please submit a roommate request by e-mail or along with your Discover Rosedale registration. Requests are honored at the discretion of the Enrollment Services Coordinator.

What should I bring?
Please bring a sleeping bag or sheets for a single bed, pillow, and personal bathroom items.

What should I wear?
Please feel free to dress comfortably for your time with us. Our students follow a classroom dress standard during class hours (8:00 to 5:00), and dress casually at other times. As our guest, you are not required to dress according to the classroom standard. Modest clothing is requested; please bring along clothes for recreational activities in the gym, too. (Just so you know, classroom dress means pants, not jeans, for men, and slacks, skirts or dresses for women. No T-shirts, either, till after class hours).

What are the arrival/departure times?
Arrival is from 8:00 to 9:30 pm on Thursday. Please register in the chapel foyer when you arrive. Departure is after lunch at 12:00PM on Saturday. If you are planning to arrive before 8:00 or after 9:30 on Thursday, or departing after 1:00PM on Saturday, please make arrangements with the Enrollment Services Coordinator. There will be a fee of $15 for those who wish to stay through Sunday.
